- The Wireless Deer Fence™ deer control system consists of a series of individual posts that are placed in your yard where deer are likely to find them. Each post contains a miniaturized charging circuit that maintains a voltage across the stainless spring wire electrodes at the top of the post.
- The little red insulator protects against discharge by rainfall and accidental contact between the electrodes and supports the electrodes.
- The red top piece has a spike that holds the scented tube and the bright red color makes the post easier to see as a shock hazard warning.
- The short stake at the bottom of the Wireless Deer Fence posts pushes into the ground to hold the post upright.
- The attractant used to entice the deer to touch the electrodes is a proprietary mixture of pleasant food scents that deer like. The scent chemicals are incorporated into a polyethylene resin that is shaped like a small tube.
- The Wireless Deer Fence™ posts are made from UV stabilized PVC plastic to resist the sun's damaging rays.
- The posts are 19 inches tall and weigh about 6 oz.
- Price is $59.95 per box of 3 posts and a one year supply of attractant. Postage to the US or Canada is included.
- An insertion/testing tool is included to insert the scented resin tubes and for testing the posts.
- Each post requires 2 AA batteries. Batteries are not included. Battery life is one year for good alkaline batteries.
